Sport ID Reference

V3 uses a different sport ID mapping than V1/V2. For example, Tennis is ID 2 in V3 but ID 5 in V2. Basketball is ID 3 in V3 but ID 2 in V1.
Field hockey (24) is V3-only and score-level. No other version has a field hockey host (V1/V2/V4/V6 answer “Unknown host” / “Unknown resource”). Verified depth: period windows, match summary with period scores and periodLabels, head-to-head, config/checksums. Empty for this sport: statistics, lineups, commentary, odds, timeline, news; leagues report hasStandings: false and /draw returns an empty bracket. Do not confuse it with hockey (id 4, ice hockey), which has much wider coverage.
Cycling (34) uses a rider-as-event model. Each league is a classification (... - Overall for the General Classification, ... - Stage N for a stage result) and each event is one rider’s placing, with homeTeam.name as the rider and homeTeam.shortName as the position. See Cycling races on V3.
