Data model
- Cycling sits in one category:
International(id1458). - That category exposes two
uniqueStages: Cycling Men (9) and Cycling Women (94). - Riders are modelled as “teams”. A rider profile is
/api/teams/{id}— for example Tadej Pogačar is307884. There is no/api/players/{id}for cycling. - Races appear in search results as entities of
type: "stage"(for exampleTour de France, id210217). These stage ids are not addressable as V2 endpoints; use V3 for race content.

Rider / team profile
Rider history sub-routes (
/api/teams/{id}/events/last/{page}, /players, /performance, /unique-tournaments, /near-events, /featured-event) are not served for cycling and return 404. Use the V3 period endpoints to reconstruct recent results.Empty-but-valid routes
/api/live, /api/today, /api/schedule/{date}, /api/live-tournaments and /api/scheduled-tournaments/{date} respond 200 with events: [] / empty tournament lists, on every date including Grand Tour dates. Treat them as unavailable for cycling and use V3 instead.
